The President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach visited the house of Father Frost in Sochi. Father Frost gave his guest a tour of the homestead, showed him Vologda lace, northern black silverware and the Shemogod bark carving. Father Frost also told Thomas Bach of his one dream.

With the arrival of first frosts in St. Petersburg, Father Frost from Veliky Ustyug visited the Presidential Library. He arrived at the Media Forum of the Northwest held there.

Father Frost’s residence will be relocated to an area near Vologda following the 2014 Winter Olympic Games, where it will become a sort of monument to the Sochi Olympics. Father Frost himself spoke about this at a news conference at the Sochi Media Center.
