A new scarfing line designed by Austrian-Slovenian Company Ledinek Engineering has become operational at Sokol Wood Plant of Segezha Group (part of PJSC Sistema) in the Vologda region.

New asset Segezha Group – Sokol CLT LLC – is scheduled to place at the site of the Sokolsky woodworking plant. The capacity of the plant “Sokol CLT” will be 35 thousand m3 of finished products per year when working in two shifts.

Challenging the situation, Ledinek and Sokol teams have successfully completed the job!
According to the project time schedule, at the end of January, Ledinek Engineering started to deliver equipment to Sokol Timber Company for their finger jointing line which is a part of the complex line for the production of glue lam beams. Sokol Timber Company is a company belonging to Segezha Group, one of the Russian major wood processing groups and today in CW 20, they have launched the production for the market on our FJ Eurozink line.

London — Russian mining and steel group Severstal said July 7 it started to ship iron ore pellets to steelmaker Companhia Siderurgica Nacional in Brazil, as it expands sales to new regions.
The shipment concluded is for the first batch of pellets totaling more than 100,000 mt, bound for Brazil's largest fully integrated steel producer, CSN, Severstal said in a statement.
