A new day-care centre has been commissioned in the District of Vologda.
The opening of a new kindergarten in the District of Vologda will resolve the problem with the lack of kindergarten places in the region.
The kindergarten was built in spite of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Vologda Region Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov inspected a new day-care centre in the settlement of Marfino, Vologda District.
This new preschool institution is designed for 100 places all in all. The new 2-storey day care centre has become home for several groups of kids from eighteen months and six years of age. The new kindergarten is accommodated with musical and sports halls, sports grounds.
The demand for places in kindergartens is high because many parents want their 2- and 3-year-olds educated in institutions whose sole purpose is education.
According to the top leadership of the Vologda Oblast, availability of places in preschool institutions for children from 3 to 7 years old in our region is 100 percent. By RF President's decree, municipalities are required to guarantee all children at least 3 years of age a spot in a nursery school.
